Recipe for Combatting Caregiver Blues

three and a half miles

on the bike at 6 a.m.,


all the calisthenics and stretches,

punctuated by

plenty of water


follow with

several pages of

a good book,


when someone is stirring,






colored peppers

mushrooms in

olive and coconut oils

liberally sprinkled with


toss kosher salt and

freshly ground pepper


season and

stir until soft


add eggs

add cheese

finish to bubbly

under the broiler


serve with

whole grain toast

fruit and

a smile
