Stacey R. Campbell, author of two YA books, Hush and Whisper, as well as the picture book Sock Monster, is making her way into the land of the middle grade novel with her new book, Arrgh!. Got that?!? It’s a book about pirates. I love books about pirates, don’t you?

Forced to remain silent after being kidnapped by pirates, Christopher must find a way to save an innocent merchant ship’s captain and his daughter from the evil grasp of Captain Redblade, proving that friendship and family are worth fighting for no matter the costs.

And here is the fun part: the eBook release is on International Speak Like a Pirate Day (September 19), when we’ll all be making noises like this title. The book goes into pre-sale on Amazon this Friday, August 22, if you want to get a jump on it!

Hardcover release is Thanksgiving Day.

So get yourselves ready…. Drumroll please…… presenting….

Wait for it…..

Almost…
