Grateful: Tee Hee Hee

I’ve been clearing out our daughter’s room, taking it over for real, getting rid of stuff, packing things to store. When I’m done, it will be my office.

Some big stuff is about to start happening in my office, aside from the actual work of finishing a book, and I am excited to be making this creative productive space my own. More about that another day.

But I’ve been thinking about chickens lately. My main character, Kate, loves chickens and misses her “girls” back home. So as I was clearing away, I found myself unable to get rid of… farmyard animals.

Two big bags of stuffed animals are making their way out of the house, two small boxes of treasured friends are stored away, and  I – well, I have some new companions, who will keep me company in my new space. Tee hee hee…
