Grateful: Awards in my jammies

It’s a busy day here at Soundview School, but this weekend was filled with so many things for which I am grateful, and I had pause and share what I got up at 4:30 this morning to experience: The American Library Association Youth Media Awards were announced at the ALA Midwinter Meeting. Go here for the full ALA news release, and here to see cover images and a short description of each award.

I can’t wait to stick the Caldecott stickers (oh, if only I had the rest of them, too!) to our books with the second graders this week.
