It is so very exciting to hear from the folks at the studio, who have gotten a peek at some of your binders, that they are lovely!!! The title of this post is the title of the e-mail I got.

You have all done a wonderful job of completing the homework. Barbara pointed out two important  things to me when I was up to hear Richard Box speak yesterday; one was that it wasn’t obvious that a second pouch was required or expected, though I believe everyone made one, and another was that it would have been good to have felt ball steps written out, or a warning to take notes at the time!

Here are some of the beautiful results of the class. I can’t wait to see the work you have created for your homework.

I created a photo felt ball demo for a Creative Studies Center newsletter, which was to be created before the class, but then of course the property purchase took place…  When I send you your patterning notes (too late, I see! – sorry they were lost and had to be recreated ) I will send simple felt ball steps.

Great input from all of you, with many thanks – I have taught many feltmaking classes but the technical level of this one is what Gail and I have worked toward for several years, and I appreciate your being my guinea pigs for this first certificate course.  There is much interest in a second  session – so keep telling your friends and I will try to keep this going so that we can get a Level 2 class soon!
